Il Dottor McDreamy e la sua”corte” potrebbero sparireinsieme alla serie Tv ” Grey’s Anatomy”,grazie a uno sciopero degli autori di Hollywood che è cominciato in questi giorni.La Writer Guild of America formerà dei picchetti in 14 studios in turni di 4 ore, dalle 9 del mattino alle 5 del pomeriggio fino a che non sarà raggiunto un accordo sul contratto.
Gli autori chiedono profitti più alti sulle vendite dei DVD , sulle entrate della distribuzione di film e show televisivi in internet . Il blocco del loro lavoro può minacciare la produzione di Grey’s Anatony, di Private Practice, Heroes e altre serie tv di successo.Patrick Dempsey ha dichiarato in un’intervista che Grey’s Anatomy non è preparata per questo sciopero. ” Abbiamo molte puntate per arrivare fino a dopo Natale, ma dopo dovremo vedere se sarà la fine della stagione di Grey’s”.Patrick Dempsey ha detto che mentre lui non è molto preoccupato,lo sciopero potrebbe creare molti problemi al resto del cast e della troupe.L’attore, che interpreta il Dottor Derek Shepherd ,ha aggiunto :” La preoccupazione non è tanto per me stesso, dato che so che le cose mi andranno bene, ma per le persone che vivono di questo lavoro, che saranno danneggiate più profondamente e penso che sarà una grande tragedia per loro”.
Dr. McDreamy and his cohorts may be checking out of Seattle Grace early this year, thanks to a Hollywood writers’ strike that started early this morning.
The Writers Guild of America is expected to picket 14 studios in four-hour shifts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day until a new contract is reached.
Writers are asking for bigger DVD profits and revenue from distribution of films and TV shows over the Internet, and the work stoppage may threaten production of Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Heroes and other smash hit shows.
“Grey’s Anatomy is not prepared for the Writers’ Guild of America strike,” Patrick Dempsey told Entertainment Tonight in an interview Monday.
“We are not that far ahead. We have enough show to take us through Christmas, but then we’ll have to see if that’s the end of the season.”
Patrick Dempsey said that while he isn’t worried personally, the strike could adversely affect dozens of other cast and crew members.
“My concern is not so much for myself, because I’ll be alright, but people who are living more paycheck to paycheck are going to be damaged much more profoundly,” the man behind Dr. Derek Shepherd said. “And I think that’s a real tragedy”.
